Bobby Scumaci
Bobby
Scumaci is the founder of Career Musician. Born into a family of musicians
and performing live by the age of 10, Bobby has spent a lifetime surrounded
by music. He is an exceptionally accomplished musician, songwriter, studio
owner and producer. His credits include 10 years on the road with classic
rock legend and hall of famer Dave
Mason, appearances with Spencer
Davis, Edgar Winter, Gary
Wright, Mick Fleetwood,
Al Di Meola and many others. In
addition, he has composed original scores for a number of video games and
films. Bobby’s dynamic and enduring career as an artist has been an
education that only the experience itself could provide. It’s this
unique "street-education" and real-world insight that brings credibility
and legitimacy to the products and services of Career Musician.
While the business of music is intricate, complicated and fraught with potential
pitfalls, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone more qualified to
guide others through the obstacles and realize the true potential of your

Ryan Goodin
Ryan’s passion for music and
business savvy make him an important part of the Career Musician
team. With 10 years experience songwriting and performing, Ryan identifies
with the challanges that every musician will face as he or she works to
build a career in
the music business. He advocates the success of his fellow musician by working
closely with the community to develop dynamic solutions for the needs of
each unique individual. All feedback from this
website is read by him personally and will be considered in the development
of future educational resources from Career Musician.

Dave is the lead singer of Hi
Infidelity, one of the most successful and well known cover bands in

Chicago area. Voted Best Male Vocalist three years running by Suburban NiteLife
readers, Dave has performed with several tribute bands, been in several
musical stage productions such as Guys & Dolls and Godspell, and has
